Most datatypes allow you to check a checkbox to specify that it is "moderator-only". Fields marked in this way will not be shown in the Default Data Entry Form to users unless they have administrative permissions.

This method of providing conditional access to fields is now deprecated and is provided for legacy compatibility; the use of multiple Data Entry Form components (all targeting the same Table) is recommended instead.
