The Total View is used in conjunction with the Query Embed, to provide a set of surfaces to provide totals.

On the Query Embed, Surround tab, select a Surround Component.

Configure the Surround Component with embeds to show the totals:

In the Query Embed, the Total views to be shown, and the pages on which they should be shown. In this context, 'pages' means the paging of records when there may be more than is set to be shown at once (as defined on the Query Embed, Components tab, "Paging: use page size" setting.

If they can all be shown, then "Single page" applies.

If there are more records than can be shown at one, they are spread over multiple pages which the user can move between. In this case each page is one of "First page", "Intermediate pages" or "Last page".
