The Search Highlight style defines how highlighted text is displayed.

Note

Text is highlighted when you view a page from the results list of the Search component. The page will highlight the words searched for.

You can also force the highlight of specific words by appending a querystring to the end of the URL in a link to the page:

highlightstring=word{+word)||%22phrase%22

Examples:

?highlightstring=website

highlights occurances of the word "website"

?highlightstring=%22web server%22

highlights occurances of the phrase "web server"

?highlightstring=web+server

highlights occurances of the word "web" and of the word "server"
