Migrating a static site into the system is straightforward, but needs to be thought through. Generally it is best to approach this in a series of stages:

1. Create a new site, and copy in the contents of the individual pages, without any navigation links.
2. Use the system's navigation zones to reproduce the navigation.
3. Add DirectURLs to the pages matching the old page names (the new pages will be following the numerical addressing schema)
4. Start extending the site with the new functionality the system provides.
